I've just received a further comment from the ranter, full of ridiculous invective. Sad.
In fact it really IS sad, inasmuch as this whole appalling situation has proven so divisive in our country.
I seriously fear for the future.

We don't do politics on here do we? But if you insist Absolutely horrible but I think a nice touch is the number (approximate) of stars/member states from when it was the common market before the monster EU developed Refects the amount of "thought" that went into the thing. I wonder if they've sold any. I couldn't really put my foot through a guitar. I saw Tommy Cannon wreck two unplayable cheap jobs in rehearsal and even that felt wrong. Oh wait. Maybe Gibsons... From a musicians perspective it’s been anything other than a monster. Right now any one of us can take a booking in 27 countries outside the UK with no paperwork and no questions. From November 1st a work permit and possibly a visa will be required. If the UK has a quota system post Brexit, no doubt so will the EU. It’s hard enough for most musicians to scrape a living, this will make it much harder.

Anybody remember the domesday scenarios painted around the turn of the century by the catastrophe mongers regarding the "millenium bug"?
Burning planes falling from the sky into yer porridge, mass accidental nuclear missile launches, trombones wilting, people covered in boils......

- I don't remember my trombone wilting (I'm assuming that was a euphemism Peter, wasn't it?) and certainly no boils, but I may have had a small, transient spot on my forehead....

But...even if you think Brexit is a good idea, the guitar is still naff, right?

Burning planes falling from the sky into yer porridge, mass accidental nuclear missile launches, trombones wilting, people covered in boils...... Yep. I had to database my Beatles chatroom/forum server, spend 400 quid on software and work out a way to give forum members access because of it. When the forum moved to Delphi everyone acted as if it was my fault. Real hoot, that was.
'kin internet. Mankind's third worst invention.

In fact one of the downsides of Brexit is that it will become cheaper due to lower tariffs, making it more affordable to those of limited means and poor judgement. Those people need protection.

Burning planes falling from the sky into yer porridge, mass accidental nuclear missile launches, trombones wilting, people covered in boils...... Yes I do. I’m also aware of the sinking of the Titanic and Neville Chamberlain’s return from Munich in 1938. For or against Brexit, unarguably it will make life harder for professional musicians. www.theguardian.com/music/musicblog/2016/nov/01/brexit-music-british-bands-eu-referendum-touring-europe

Those people need protection. Have you noticed which way the GB pound is going? Sure have - the boys at Brook and Fylde et al will need to get recruiting big time to meet the surge in export orders. Fantastic news for the UK music industry. I still worry about the trombone manufacturers though.

Forgive me if I keep staying out of this discussion. anything I could post would sound wrong. Everything everybody says about B***** sounds wrong. It might sound better in German, Bernd. Probably not though. I, too, am staying out of the discussion.

The main thing that gets me is the 'kin word Brexit itself. It's just a short form of British Exit, what spotty faced idiot of a child in the Government decided that was too difficult for us to say if it had an extra five letters.
