I was reading the review here: licklibrary.ceros.com/iguitarmag/greg-howe-guitar-interactive-magazine/issue18/page/1and watching the excellent video. My 7 year old daughter came downstairs and sneaked in, not being able to go to sleep, and heard the end of the video and said "that was very expressive". Which it was! Thats my girl! Its a great review of a lovely sounding guitar. There is something particularly satisfying about the thick tone of a slope shouldered dread, and Atkin seems to have got it just right with this one. Are you saying that's what I should get next Robbie ?! I spent a few hours in the sun in the garden this afternoon playing my OM, sort of had one of those sessions that goes on for 2 hours and passes in a moment where you just relax and really get into playing and at the end of it thought god that's a great sounding guitar!

Not at all Peter! I was simply scanning through iGuitar magazine, which is a great resource by the way. I just love the sound of the J35 in the review- a real flatpickers guitar, but I bet it can do fingerpicking as well. The reviewer certainly seemed to like it. It sounded superb doing those flatpicked lead guitar licks. No, your OM is as equally an adept instrument, and in many ways is probably more flexible. I'm glad you had time to enjoy her this afternoon, and I do very much hope you two fall back in love (and boy don't I know how that feels to want that!!!!) Robbie

I've posted a link to the last few editions as soon as they appeared. There's usually good acoustic contenet, plus paul Brett's vintage pages. I like iGuitar a lot, apart form the loud music on the first page or three. Keith

... plus there is the amazing shredder Greg Howe and that shredilicious orange Laguna guitar with at least a million frets GAS GAS GAS.
