........................ Two more gigs next week - I’m on a roll! Would that be a Swiss roll, jelly roll, bridge roll, bread roll, drum roll....(...or a pair of baps)? All the best for the gigs! Keith

Forgot to flag up here that last night I was opening for John Doyle (Solas, Transatlantic Sessions, Joan Baez, Mary Chapin Carpenter) at Northwich Folk Club. Thanks to geddarby and lavaman for coming out - I’m tempted to cut my fingers off after seeing and hearing John’s immensely fluid, rhythmic and tasteful playing, but perhaps I just need to practise a bit more... Tonight, continuing my swiss/jelly/sausage (delete as required) roll, I’m playing a joint gig with my good friends The Huers at the wonderfully named Doghouse Jazz Bar in sunny (and increasingly trendy) Ramsbottom. The Huers are Ian Cleverdon and Phil Caffrey, who both were heavily involved in the recording of my last CD, and who are official Bose PA demonstrators at various guitar shows around the country. www.thedoghousejazzbar.co.uk/

It's not quite that bad, we've sold around half the tickets so will cover the costs. P.S. Not sure if it was clear I'm not playing, just "promoting" for the church

P.S. Not sure if it was clear I'm not playing, just "promoting" for the church I prefer playing over promoting any time. It's just whether the audience agrees ....
