I've just realised, I bought myself my first decent guitar about three years after I started learning...it cost less than a set of these...

They are cheap compared to bass guitar strings. Even worse, cello strings. My ex once paid this much for ONE single cello,string!!!

I'd like to see data more specific than "a really, really long time" if I was seriously thinking about shelling out £43 for strings.
