I've been after a Gibson J-200 since I was about 14 or 15 so last month when my local music shop got one in I didn't really hesitate to have him put it in the back for me. It's a 2013 but it's never been played, there is not a mark on it....currently. I'm going to change out the pickup as I don't like undersaddles, then it'll be getting thrown in at the deep end for recording my 2nd album, worth the wait I think!

Sweet. I love those guitars. I had a good one briefly, and by briefly I mean for about an hour. I got it home to discover a big crack across the bridge, so I returned it and didn't take up the offer to have it repaired with some discount. I always kinda regretted that. I got a J-150 later on as a consolation, but it was pretty mediocre.

J200s can be fabulous if you find the right one. I have had two over the years, a 2010 Standard that wasn't all that special and a 94 J200"Special" with Honduran Rosewood back and sides that I really liked, but sadly had to sell to help fund my son's Violin education. Luckily I own a 94 J100 xtra that I truly love. I hope yours brings you joy
