I picked "Anthea" up yesterday from her excursion in Wales and put some new strings on her ready for her journey 'oop North tomorrow to gavdav via leoroberts. I thought I'd do a quick recording before she goes so here;s my "Bees in the Chimney" tune played with "Anthea" in F Bb F Bb Eb F tuning which puts the tune in the key of Bb
leoroberts very kindly dropped Anthea off on Saturday morning. No recordings as yet, but first thoughts are that this is a stunning little guitar. I don't count myself as much of a fingerstyle player, but the guitar really has encouraged me to arrange some things using more than just a chunk of plastic - it plays brilliantly and has a really open articulate voice. It's also a supremely comfortable guitar. Watch this space for some recordings. I've played quite a few of Dave's guitars - all have been great and all have had bags of personality, but this is my favourite so far!

Well James (jubbo) returned Anthea today from the last leg of her "Road Trip" - 11 months, just over 2,000 miles and 13 participants. A big thank you to everyone who took part and thanks for the fantastic and uplifting music created
walkingdecay: The smell of wet dog is not nice. You'd think they would do something about that.

walkingdecay: Martin: Limited time free trial of Fallout 76 on a the moment. Having tried it I think it's not bad, certainly not the disaster it was claimed to be during the press feeding frenzy. Apparently the next patch is introducing NPCs too.

walkingdecay: At the moment it's still a Mission Impossible type thing driven by found tapes, but it's completely soloable. I did about five hours without a word to or help from anyone.

Onechordtrick: Half way through Rolling Thunder and listening to “a Hard Rain’s a Gonna Fall”. Could almost be the prototype for punk.

walkingdecay: But they're back now. Kristofferson's appearance was a tragic error of judgement, it seems. The man was far too ill to be put under such stress.

ocarolan: Blind Willie is a very sad affliction, but not, so I have been told, quite as painful as Moby Dick.
