For years I've used MusEdit on a laptop but I tend to use my iPad more than the laptop these days. Not being very literate in standard notation I've tended to just print out blank tab and translate std notation to tab in pencil then modify where I want to play the notes which is pretty crude but has helped sight reading and knowledge of the fretboard. What notation apps are people are people using on iPads.

Have you looked at TEFPad?
It’s the iPad companion to TablEdit. I haven’t used TEFPad but I’ve used the free version of TablEdit on a PC which is easy to use once over the initial learning curve. The free version is limited to saving the first 16 bars (or measures, as the terminology is American).

Well in the spirit of putting my money where my mouth I've just bought the full version of Tabledit, fuller report once my licence code arrives
