This is my version of Fare Thee Well/ Dink's Song, first collected by John Lomax in 1911 & made famous during the 60s folk revival (& by a recent film called Inside Llewyn Davis). It's from my live record of traditional blues songs called Timber Framed which came out in November. I came across the vintage film of countryside passing a train window, which I'm pretty sure was meant for use as a back projection & thought it was pretty cool so combined the two The mandolin & backing vocals are provided by Dan Hartland, who is a cracking singer-songwriter in his own right (& a mate of Amit ) and also well worth checking out. Edit: Following my social media marketing course I'm trying to put up a video a week on YouTube at the minute, so I've retitled this thread to reflect the fact I'm going to post links to all of them

Thanks for listening chaps Your comments are much appreciated Following a slight hiccup this week (which I'm blaming entirely on a Windows update that messed up my PC) there should be another video up on Friday.

Great stuff, Pete... cracking videos and good sounds. Have you though about putting these in The Plucky Duck? Martin, ocarolan.... Yes, Leo, but not for very long! Pete, being a "proper" musician, has presumably placed these vids in General to gain the widest audience as it is a Public board viewable by guests as well as members. If the vids were in the PD the audience would be limited to members. Keith

Keith That was my thinking ocarolan - although I've had a YouTube channel for years, I'm making more of an effort to update it regularly as part of a wider effort to build more of a following through social media. Of course, I'm very happy for the videos to be put wherever the admin team thinks is most appropriate. Although looking at the viewing figures I'm not sure how 'proper' I can claim to be! Thank you to lavaman & leoroberts for your kind words

Great videos Pete. I admire the levitation your right leg consistently achieves, good to see a proper orangery too.
