I just heard this on Cerys Matthews Show - interesting changes of tempo I thought.

I love Pokey and his band, and was fortunate to have seen them perform live twice. The second time, I was allowed into the function room to show Pokey and his guitarist (Adam Hoskins?) an old Archtop that I'd hoped to sell them. They liked it but cash was an issue.
The roadie was having issues with their p.a. amp, and things seemed increasingly problematic. I offered my p.a. mixer amp and we jumped in the bandwagon and zoomed round to my house and back. the session went ahead just slightly late, but Pokey played though without a break to make sure that the audience had 2the full deal".
That short ride in that van reminded me that a life on the road is not, in any way, glamorous!
They were using this gear then :

What a brilliant interpretation - thanks for sharing martinrowe! St Louis Blues by W C Handy (what a name!) was tabbed out in Acoustic Guitar magazine a few months back - had a quick look but need to revisit it now!
