Nice looking guitar, I think some guitars can take the bling, mmm.., maybe I should add some glitter to the CS336?
Oh and totally agree, Joe Brown is a complete national treasure.

......................... If you like a bit of Joe Brown.... Personally and for lots of reasons, I think he's a national treasure. .................... Agree entirely - one of my very early guitar heroes. I still sing Picture of You fairly regularly. A few years ago I had tickets to see him in Weston-super-Mud - sadly, never made it - on joining the motorway at Bridgwater the car lost power and coasted to a halt - broken cam belt! Keith That's a double disaster, and I guess one with a pretty big bill on top, just rub salt into the wound. Right from when I was child in the 60s, Joe Brown has been a bit special for me and I'm still fascinated by him, his music and his very affable character. I remember my mum taking me to see him play at the Granada in Harrow, a local cinema where they would have pop concerts every so often with stars of the day. Around about that time, he opened a music shop in nearby Wealdstone and I queued for ages to meet him and get a signed photo. I think I must have been about 9 years old and that he was probably still in his teens or possibly a bit older. I remember he seemed incredibly tall with that trademark hair style that made seem even taller. I was very nervous to meeting my 'guitar hero' and he could not have been nicer. I came out of the shop clutching my signed photo of him, immediately went straight to the back of the queue to go round again, hoping that he wouldn't notice. When my turn eventually came, he pointed his finger at me and with a big grin he said, "I've seen you before." He laughed and gave me another signed photo, one of which I've still got somewhere safe, so safe I can't for the moment remember where. I only get to see him live if he comes to Hall for Cornwall, which he has done a few times and hopefully will again as he puts on a great show and always seems genuinely pleased to see everyone in his audience. The Joe Brown Live at Liverpool videos on YouTube are a good example and the Jiggery Pokery Instrumental Album is a cracker. That's my ramble over for today. This is not the Harrow Granada, but still an example of the shows they used to put on.

Golden years, with those pioneers of rock and pop. Great that he is still going.

Look what I found, the Joe Brown picture I mentioned above and put somewhere so safe I couldn't remember where.

Very cool. I enjoyed that video BTW. He's a real natural. I love the little smiles to camera, during songs. I wonder how he and Tommy Steele get on?
