Hello everyone. First confession, I'm not a guitar player! I'm really a Bass Player and a Bit of Ukulele. I'm trying to do an arrangement of a tune called Prelude and Yodel by The Penguin Café Orchestra. On first listen, it sounds like just a simple melody played on a Cello with a Ukulele accompaniment. But the guitarist, (the late) Simon Jeffes is playing rapid arpeggios on guitar. I've searched the web but I can't find any notation or Tab to find out what he's doing. Can anyone work out what he's playing, not the whole tune, just up about 1:20. I guess it's in dropped D. Much appreciated, Bernie.

One of my fave bands, but no idea how/what he's playing I'm afraid.

I had a listen to the first minute or two. I wouldn't want to tab it out in detail but he is doing stuff like this;E╓─────────────────┐ B╟─────────────────┤ G╟─────────────────┤ D╟─────4───────5───┤ A╟─0h5─────0h7─────┤ D╙───────0───────0─┘
. .1 + 2 + 3 + 4 +
Note the low D string. He might be in DADGAD or open D or just dropped D.
Hope this helps.
