Not a 352 but in my experience Taylor 12 strings are very good and invariably well set up.

dicky, are you wanting a contemporary (ish) tinkly jingle jangle or an older, dirtier, bluesier downtuned sound? ( Taylor 12ers are great for the former, but I haven't tried one in the latter mode, ie hefty strings and tuned down to C or C#. ) Keith

hi Kieth
i was looking for one that does finger style the videos of the 325ce show a good note clarity .but , the main reason is the short scale slightly narrower 1st position fret space and the play ability . i have an old echo that is unplayable and a mexican martin that still has to be fought with to some extent.50 years of bricklaying has had some negative effects on my joints ! if taylors adverts are correct this could be the one . cheers dicky ps up to 2 grand is a lot of money to find!!!!!!!

I had a used 455 for while. Jingle / jangle sound, good projection and easy to play but in the end I didn't play it enough to keep it. I found some songs suited a 12 string, others didn't. Used Taylors tend to hold their value pretty well.

In which case you'd do well to look at the 12ers made by Vintage - the Paul Brett one, and the Gordon Giltrap one. These sound good at standard pitch and downtuned with heavier strings. Fingerstyle is a doddle, playability is very good, and they cost a fraction of a Taylor. You'll find some fingerstyle vids of one of the first Paul Brett ones on my Youtube channel (link in my signature) if you go back a few years. Good luck with your search! Keith

Takamine 12's are very good. I had a Taylor 355 in the past and i prefer my Takamine en40 over that. Don't be put of by the Ebay 5 or 6 hundred price tags on them. I got mine for half that. We are so lucky now with budget 12's. The first one i bought needed fingers of Geoff Capes to fret.

A musical partner of mine has a Breedlove 12 string which is a damn good instrument.
