I should add that I've just spent the weekend with Mike Dawes who tours the world both as a solo artist and as a member of Justin Heywood's band. MIke's bag is likely to get far more wear on his bag than we will. The bag looked in good condition and he tells me it has been touring with him pretty constantly for over two years now. Looked a good testament for the longevity of the Mono. Eventually the zips will go I guess but that is the problem with zips!

Well, this is a very handy thread, thank you all for joining in. Do you think any of these bags could resist a Bear attack?

No, for a bear attack it really has to be a Hiscox Pro or Artist hard case, it's not the body of the case that will stop it, but it will just get frustrated trying to open it because it forgot to release the catch on the back of the neck so it'll just walk away. I know it usually frustrates me.

Some of those Bears are smart though..... Smarter than the average radio one listener, for example.

Well, Andy. We were playing in Banbury last night, when the Landlord tripped over Dan Sealey's guitar and left a kind of trench in the neck. That's Oxfordshire! Image what would happen if inebriated Bears got into a gig. You'd need a good gig bag.

OK, I believe that leoroberts will have failed in his duty to this forum if he doesn't come up with a song using the line 'Giant poisonous bear fart'.
