I have just removed an LR Baggs Anthem SL system from a guitar I made which I have now turned purely acoustic. It's a great system, and I'd certainly recommend and use the system again myself if I had a guitar needing a pickup fitting. However, i can't justify keeping a spare one!
I can send it with a new Velcro patch for mounting the battery inside, and wire clips etc.
I don't have the box any more, but full instructions can be found online.
I'd like £150 for it - but I'm open to sensible offers on here. I'll include tracked postage in the UK too (happy to ship internationally- message me about that if you'd like to, and we'll work something out.
If I don't have interest here in the next few weeks (until early August 2019), I'll try my luck on eBay, but would prefer to benefit people here, who I know will enjoy it!
NewDave: I'm GASsing so bad I just started looking at acoustic basses. I need help.

NewDave: Truth is I don't need any new guitars. I just need to get better at playing the ones I already have. But sometimes I WANT one even though I know it's completely irrational.

NewDave: There's a Larrivee LSV11 on ebay from the US that looks like it's a very competitive price.

NewDave: I wonder if bidders realise they'll have to pay around 28% in duty and that Paypal charges £30 just to exchange currency and gives an exchange rate that's about the same as the one you get in the airport. Ebay displays a price based on the bank rate.

NewDave: I bought a guitar from Italy once - thought I'd snagged a bargain. Once I'd given Paypal a wheelbarrow full of money not such a bargain after all. And that was Italy so there weren't any duties payable.

NewDave: BRING BACK THE MALTHOUSE COMPROMISE.

NewDave: That was a joke by the way. I feel like I've been drinking even though I haven't. That's why it seemed funny to me. Everything does when I've been drinking. Even though I haven't.

scorpiodog: I have. Everything seems very nice, but a bit swimmy.

NewDave: I snapped. I bought a new guitar. It's either going to be a dog or a diamond.

NewDave: And I think I'll open a bottle of Tiger now you've said that.

walkingdecay: No point in drinking beer now I "can't taste" anything. Turns out that "can't taste" actually means my tongue acts as if it's daubed with lead whatever I eat or drink even after recovering a little.

walkingdecay: Speaking of meanings, I thought the phrase "Indian summer" came from the days of the Raj and summering in Poona, but it's actually derived from 18th C. French trappers who referred to extended hunting seasons in that way. You probably already knew that.

NewDave: Actually I had no idea. Always thought it was something to do with new students having their first Bombay Bad Boy Pot Noodle.

NewDave: On the bright side, buying the Dog of Thoth seems to dampened my ardour for new guitars - at least temporarily.

scorpiodog: What happened? I thought it was OK. At least it should be the Basset Hound of Osiris.

NewDave: It's alright I suppose. It could be worse. But apart from that day when it was delivered I've hardly picked it up. Mind you, it did help inspire me to start writing a song so perhaps I shouldn't be so harsh.
