I'd been eyeing up this amp for a while and couldn't find any reason not to get one. All valve, incredibly loud, all the inputs and outputs you need and some serious tones to be had. Once I plugged in I was impressed too. The Clean channel is pretty damn good and the Lead channel is fairly monstrous, leaning toward the heavy side of things. I like the way the amp looks, espcially with the internal lights changing from red to blue, when changing channels. It's really solid and quite weighty, with what seems to be, excellent build quality but only time will tell with that. 2 things I would change would be having a built in reverb and a gentler increase on the Master volume. This works only on the Lead channel and seems to go from nothing to bloody loud in the smallest of knob tweaks. Small things when you consider what this amp can do and how little it cost. I've got it going through my Yamaha THRC212, 2x12 300 watt cab and this set up could handle gigs, no problem.

walkingdecay: I saw her at the Beeb when she was promoting an album called Living In The USA. Can't say I remember much of the music, only that she was an utterly gorgeous pocket-sized Venus. My tongue fell so far it's a wonder it didn't pick up fluff from the carpet.

walkingdecay: Explanation for last. Two fires over the local common, probably resulting from arson, have ensured that self-isolating neighbours have had to keep their windows closed in hot weather. Would also be a good song title, if anyone wants it.

walkingdecay: True. One of the advantages for lyric writers is that the tune can cover bad rhymes anyway. Well, not "He made a vow while in state's prison/ Vowed it would be my life or his 'n'..." Tex Ritter couldn't see anything wrong with that.
