Bagged an Alvarez hybrid today for a great price. Like the nylon string sound but hate classical necks so this has a slim neck. LR Baggs electronics as well. Hope it sounds as nice as it looks.

Very nice. A bit like the Valencia I got recently, minus the sparks. Are these what the americans called Crossover guitars?

This could be the type of nylon guitar for me. Or any crossover/clasical with 620-630mm scale length/slimmer neck (C or tapered D if possible but anything slimmer than a 'regulation' classical guitar neck)/ a nut width less than 2 inches or 51 ish mm. 45-48mm might do it. Electrics optional.

Totally agree all solid woods, handmade, beautifully finished and great sounding. But I may be biased

Electrics optional. Have you seen the Harley Benton hybrids (Thomann's in-house brand)? They make quite a few. Some bowl-back some not. They very cheap and are subject to their no-quibbles 30-day returns policy, so if you don't like it you just send it back, which is a nice level of reassurance for an online-only company. I have in the past been guilty of using Thomann's returns policy simply as a way of having guitars delivered to my door to try out. Though you do have to pay return postage. www.thomann.de/gb/4-4_size_classical_guitars.html?filter=true&manufacturer%5B%5D=Harley%20Benton

I’ve been very happy with my LAG hybrid/crossover guitar. Plays beautifully and has an excellent pickup/preamp system. It might be for sale, for the simple reason that I’ve recently invested in a beautiful handmade BSG hybrid. Here’s a video of someone playing the same LAG model.

Aye, I've had Thomann on my guitar radar for a while now....but maybe I had taken my eye off the ball and not realised that they offered nylon/hybrid guitars. Options for me as they could satiate my thirst for my nylon fingerstyle requirements.
