I listen to the podcast, especially when it features guitarists.

Signed up and donated. Not sure how they are doing it. I kind of hope the pieces are pre recorded and then broadcast live.
Great line up.

Just realised you can stream YouTube on virginmedia so am watching this on the TV now. Thinking about pitching my tent in the living room to get the full folk festival experience!

Expecting to see dreadnought28 and ianlp59 playing along and doing background vocals! MS has his cowboy shirt on ...looking and sounding good! EDIT... now playing a 12 fret slot head Fylde ...sounds lovely. No sign of Chris or Ian as yet ...

I'm nitpicking but I think he could perhaps dial down the volume on the cowboy shirt?

I'm nitpicking but I think he could perhaps dial down the volume on the cowboy shirt? Possibly...I'm not a huge MS fan but I'm finding him quite engaging.. Karine Polwart next...looking forward to seeing her in particular. Edit... The only thing missing so far is rain and mud....wall to wall blue sky in S Devon currently.

Kris Drever playing his Waterloo now...he's got fine taste in sound hole pick ups .. Not to mention his tuner! Don't recognise his capo though...has a very wide bar across the fingerboard .

Peggy Seeger on now ...playing banjo . I'm expecting Martin Martin or Chris dreadnought28 to pop up any moment .... Doing a song about the five times table ... maybe appropriate but possibly a tad advanced for banjo players ... Wonderful to see a genuine legend performing live though.. Next on is Seth [stamper] Lakeman ...come back Rodders rodders where are you ? I think I'll give him a miss and come back for Steve Knightley shortly after 9pm...

Seth is playing some very nice bouzouki but that right foot is still bangin' away ... OK...only in the choruses ... Edit ... now on a sunburst F hole tenor guitar ....very effective but that right foot is still banging away..good song and vocal though .

And now Julie Fowlis with Eamon Doorley on bouzouki ...I have no idea what she is singing about but the combination of sounds is magical.. Not too sure if her tartan leggings are well advised though... Forget that...a stunning set.
