I asked on Facebook, got a link to Ultimate Guitar Tab, great, I go to print and then it asks for money (so many dollars per month) Is there a free tab site where I can print tabs from?

You could try www.free-scores.com/ But my experience of searching for free tabs is that you have to pay for a decent one, especially if it’s still in copyright. And a lot of the free tabs are fairly basic single note melodies rather than a more complex arrangement. I’ve managed to find individual tabs for a one off payment of around £5 rather than Ultimate’s subscription model. For example www.musicnotes.com/sheetmusic/mtd.asp?ppn=MN0028735 gives what you want for £4.33.

Oh I'll just have to screenshot it and print it that way. I don't see why we should have to pay for single note tabs

I've just printed it fine from Ultimate guitar & I've never given them any money. If you are accessing it from a desktop PC then the print button is at the bottom right when you scroll down. I don't see why we should have to pay for single note tabs I mean, hardly anyone does in the age of the internet and I make frequent use of the free resources available online so I'm really not judging you, but when you pay for sheet music or tab it generates revenue which is passed through a publisher to the songwriter and songwriters deserve to be paid for creating the great pieces of music we want to learn. If that isn't reason enough Paul Desmond left the royalties from Take 5 to the Red Cross in his will, so when you buy sheet music of it you're actually helping provide humanitarian aid to those in need...

I have a tabbed out arrangement of Take 5 in an out-of-print book of jazz standards by Fred Sokolow I bought off eBay recently. I could scan it and post up the PDF pages if you like. Nice arrangement, but It's pretty tricky though, a long way from just a single line melody.

Need to walk before I can run etc
