Oook! "Are you on the hunt for a stylish new Ukulele" ask PMT. I thought "stylish" meant something along the lines of fashionably elegant and sophisticated. Maybe I'm wrong! PMT seem a bit coy about what the body is made of? Sapele in case you all want to add one to your collection - it is Fenders most expensive Uke after all!

My 7 daughter would love that uke and would probably consider it stylish. Unfortunately, due to me being tight, I will make sure she never sees it and we will never find out!

I have that one in black... It's only half in shot - but you can hear it in action in this lesson video I did for a school project I was working on when we first got locked down. Your First Three Ukulele Chords
It's not the best sounding thing, but to be completely fair, the intonation is a lot better than on the other two toy-shop ukes in the house.

The intonation on cheap ukes straight from the shop comes in, rightly so, for a lot of flak. The root cause is usally a crazily high action at the nut and often the bridge saddle too. Even my Mahalo cheapest possible soprano played well enough in tune after a few minutes attention to both ends. Mind you, I did get a bit bored doing 35 of them when I used to do school uke lessons! I'd try to get a few done each week until all were sorted It did make the sound more bearable though. Keith
