to buy a Yamaha CSF3M travel guitar (in sunburst).
I don't know why. I don't need a travel guitar, I don't play very well and I can't imagine when I would play it that I can't play the guitars I already have.
But still the urge keeps coming back.
I feel like a kid looking at the toys section of a catalogue.

It's called GAS You can distract yourself or fight it for a while, but it will get you in the end.
"You only live once" - I support that comment.
Which is probably why I have a house full of guitars, and others in my fostering outreach programme.
It does look nice, some good reviews too. Would make a nice sofa guitar.

Just bear in mind that while guitars are very easy to buy, they are often very difficult to sell.

Well it's solid spruce solid mahogany. It probably sounds nice. There are a couple on eBay I notice (though not sunburst). I would wait till one crops up on eBay. Given how little travelling is happening right now, there's proabaly gonna be quite a few travel guitars for sale.
At the total other end of the spectrum, I bought a half size Startone classical for £30 from Thomann to use as a travel guitar - actually to stash under my desk at work - and it plays and sounds pretty good. Of course, it has now been stashed under my desk in a work that has remained closed since April and which will remain closed until at least jan 2021 - having a guitar to play at work lunchbreaks might well be a permanently unneccessary thing from now on!
