This is one of my favourite songs, my own preferred version is by the Unthanks with the Brighouse and Rastrick Brass Band. 'When I set them free, it's just like part of me gets lifted up on shining wings' is one of the best lines I've ever heard.

I can't remember hear it before but I was captivated by this June Tabor version and intriged by the mention of Derby. I'm from Nottingham and I love the East Midlands accent of Dave Sudbury's. I think it became one of my favourite songs today! The King of Rome - June Tabor

I don't know if I'm on my own here but June Tabor has never done anything for me, I just find her a bit uninspiring.
