Just doing my usual morning 'tea and browsing at guitars' thing and I noticed that Glenn's Guitars (https://www.glennsguitars.com) have several old and older Fyldes in at not ridiculous prices...
Late 70s Falstaff, two late 70s Orsinos, a 12 string Orsino, a 90s Goodfellow, a 90s Falstaff and a 80s Othello...
The 79 Orsino looks good...

...always worth keeping an eye on his site! Some of these have been on e-Bay recently, often for £100 or so more than the website prices.
The Goodfellow took my eye, but the potentially better vfm Rob Armstrong is even more tempting at £1499...

I've never come across this store before. What a great selection of acoustics at what seem to be very reasonable prices. Having sold my Larrivee I really shouldn't look at websites like that! The GAS is building...

Glenn is a great guy. I have brought and sold via him. He is just really passionate about acoustic guitars. Gibsons are his main thing but he has a really interesting range of instruments including several of the late David Oddy too. He's a big fan of Roger Bucknall and small or interdependent luthier build guitars. He has a really good idea and what that he prices instruments too.
The 79 Orsino is lovely but the fingerboard has been PLAYED.

I quite like the look of the '64 Guild M20 but it is approximately £1748 more than I have in my bank account at the moment... plus I get enough Nick Drake comparisons as it is...

I had one of them once because of the Nick Drake thing. It turns out he never used one and it was just used for the photo shoot. There is some nice guitars on there.

I had one of them once because of the Nick Drake thing. It turns out he never used one and it was just used for the photo shoot. There is some nice guitars on there. Yeah, it's actually on record that the guitar on Bryter Layter was the photographers and that the only guitars Nick owned were a Levin, a couple of nylon strings (including the yamaha that's on one of the greatest hits covers), and a 000-28 that he bought AFTER Pink Moon. A few people remember him using a D28 but it's possible that was borrowed for recording sessions... There's a really great book called Remembered for a While that is full of interviews with people who knew Nick and Gabrielle Drake herself categorically states the Guild wasn't his but still people sell them as 'the Nick Drake sound'!

The new USA guitars are very good — I've played a few now and they have been very consistent. In terms of quality price they seem to me to be in the same ball park as Larrivee.

A bargain right there. Similar to the one I've got for sale (but not as cool) and a fair bit cheaper....
