"Rainer Kallenbach considers each guitar as a work of art"
The back looks like its not exactly book-matched, he needs to go to specsavers

Ok, so suppose you were to buy “Funny Fanny”- what would be the first song or tune you would play? For me it would be a favourite of my old mandolin orchestra- a great Rabbie Burns tune called ‘ Cock Up Your Beaver’.

This is mahogany and is reasonably easy to match. Maples can be more difficult. Here the pattern matches but as I said because of the way the grain runs, the colours will be different across each side. That said the guitar by Rainer would not have left my shop with a match that bad.

I used quite like guitars by Fransiek Furch, is there a theme developing here?

I've been looking at back and sides sets on Timberline and thought this Rosewood set might have been more appropriate. Rosewood

I'm guessing you'd need a larger g string with one of those...

(I kid you not) They'd have a fit if Scunthorpe were to be twinned with Penistone. Actually it's likely all done automatically. There is a facility in the Admin section on this Forum where particular specified groups of letters can be removed. Thanks to the good sense of our membership, this has never had to be used. Keith
