Must have watched the whole thing dozens of times, even thought he quality is ropey, it's absolute gold. The whole thing is just awesome to me.....

Like Nik, I've seen that so many times, but never tire of it - glad you posted it Ged - good excuse to watch it again!
Ah, Hamilton capo - cripes they were awful!

Wonderful, I had never seen that before; worth watching just for Ralph’s shirt, I would have thought?
I still have my Hamilton capo in my old gear box, complete with blotting paper rammed down the low E end of the plastic sleeve. Kids today, they’d never believe it.
One more thing - has anyone actually seen Ocarolan and Jan Akkerman in the same room, together? (Have you still got those boots KC?)

Haha - I used to wrap the high E bit of mine with sticky tape to thicken it up. Your "inside the sleeve" solution was much more elegant! One more thing - has anyone actually seen Ocarolan and Jan Akkerman in the same room, together? (Have you still got those boots KC?) Sadly the boots wore out a while back. The leather trousers had to go after just a couple of wearings - not enough ballroom and things would get very sweaty. Actually we do have something in common - we have both done solo acoustic versions of Sylvia, but there the similarity ends - Jan's is very good! Keith

Yes I've watched that on a number of occasions. Nice to see a lute in the mix, especially playing Dowland. Here is my RCM reference recording of the Fantasie #1 that Jan (or is it Keith?) plays. app.box.com/s/epbqen3v3mntkf381ihlfdloa0oq9x4jColin

Ashamed to say I've never seen this before! Thanks for sharing. Odd seeing Ralph without his J45 in his hands, though I think he used to use that Jumbo quite a bit back then from what I've read.
