If you haven't seen these before they are great to watch. Previously only available for Sky viewers they are now on terrestrial TV (Channel 11). Sky are repeating the first series starting at about 1.00 to 1.30 ish a.m. from early tomorrow morning, then just about every day at a similar time. Set your recorders.
Each programme features one artist. This first series includes Roger Daltrey, Lars Ulrich (Metallica), Nick Mason (Pink Floyd), Sting, Joe Elliott (Def Leopard), Robert Plant, then runs into the 2nd series starting with Dolly Parton. Times vary a little by an hour or so but series link sorts it out if you have it. Even the bands you don't know/like are fascinating as part of music history in the late 20th century. I think second series also includes Knopfler, Joe Walsh, Billy Joel and Mick Fleetwood and this will run on from series 1 I think.
I've watched them all before and Brian Johnson (ex lead singer of AC/DC and a Geordie which helps) is a great 'interviewer'. Excellent insights into the singer/bands and done in a humorous way.

These are really good. I was veyr surprised at first as I'm not into AC/DC but Johnson picks really interesting people and is always good for a laugh.

Brian Johnson can do no wrong. He's a genuinely nice guy who has not got lost in showbiz. His 'Cars that Rock' series was good too, although I don't think he made any money out of that as he bough most of the cars he featured.

Love this series. He's a guy that is so positive and seems really genuine. BTW he is back with AC/DC, as he got his hearing fixed.

If I was Brian I wouldn't be going back to playing live with ACDC. But then he's not me I guess :-)
