Thus far I've loved doing a few gigs with just the AER Compact 60: my Tanglewood (with a built in pick-up) in the instrument channel and the SM58 in the vocal channel. For the size gigs I've done it's been more than adequate and I've still had plenty of headroom. Best of all, I can carry the guitar and mic-stand in one hand, the amp in it's case (with all the cables in the various bag pockets) in the other hand, and I'm ready. I could almost go to gigs on the bus :-)
But now I want to introduce the Resonator into the equation (hence the microphone thread) I have a dilemma. Now I will have the additional need for the SM57 to amplify the Resonator and thus use up the microphone channel.
I could get a second AER60, I suppose. Or I could sell it and buy a small PA? Any thoughts or recommendations? I do like to travel light, if possible (my best ever buy for the electric guitar was my little Fly-Rig to replace my amp - best thing ever for guitarists in bands with a good PA and monitors!)
Cheers
Derek

I've been ogling the Behringer (shudder!) Flow 8 recently. I should add that I'm a keen digital mixer user, if I wasn't I might go for one of the Yamaha mg series.

I have been the victim of too many PowerPoint presentations from people who discover animations...

Fair point, I shall temper my enthusiasm.
Novelty's kinda worn off now anyway.
Apologies.

I quite like my Behringer xenyx802, the pre amps sound pretty good, especially for the price (around £50). www.behringer.com/product.html?modelCode=P0575It's got a jack fx send out and stereo jack return in's, XLR's on two channels, and jack master outs plus aux out (control room out). I guess it depends on how much you want to spend ?
