I had it made so it'll adjust from the length I use for the OM and Ariel, through the Alex length and up to the O25 length. The Ariel is the only one that doesn't have a specific strap, so at the moment I'll be using the new strap on that mostly. Have just ordered another this evening so I can keep one shorter and one longer. Keith |

a couple ordered to replace other straps  Bev is positively ace to communicate with .... So that's a Bear strap (which I love) and 2 Tamar straps... marvellous |

Similar to yours... As the straps are 'lifers' I've gone with the name of the instrument and the 'Leo' astrological sign to match the headstock inlay Quite exciting! Won't be ready for Christmas but that's not an issue for me. I've to get back to Bev with the length, not at home or have access to a tape measure at the mo! |

Sounds good Leo! That'll give Bev something to really work on - I think she was a bit disappointed I wanted a plain one, and my second one will be too!
You might want a little more on the max length of the strap compared to mine, depending on how you hang!

Bev (Tamar Leather) has emailed me a couple of pics of my 'in progress' straps... Unfortunately, her airbrush died the death just as she was starting to do the first stain on the second strap but I can wait... Hiding at the bottom of the pic is ocarolan's second strap, too  and Keith's strap at the top in this pic:  |

Received my second strap from Bev at Tamar Leather today. www.facebook.com/TamarLeather www.tamarleather.co.uk/ Slightly longer than the previous one, but otherwise pretty much the same, very plain, very supple already, and slightly lighter in colour, though this isn't too obvious in the pic - Attachment DeletedLeo received his two more ornate straps today too, so watch out for latest pics of these! Can thoroughly recommend Bev's work and her commitment to make exactly what you want. Remarkably inexpensive for a custom made strap. I could do with a couple more guitar straps, but I'm thinking of a thin strap for mandolin next - need to put another strap button on my mando (existing fabric strap goes on a tuner shaft which isn't ideal!) and then measure up.
