Last time I got a strap from Bev she sent me some leather that she'd dyed with an array of browns so that I could check them against my guitar... Could you, perhaps, ask her to do something similar, Martin? When in doubt, go dark  |

Have you sent Bev a pic or two that are representative of the wood shades? She might be able to match pretty closely? If not, maybe a fair bit darker might work well. Are you thinking plain or with any fancy bits Martin? Keith Yes, I sent through a couple of pics. She offered to send samples, but I stupidly said there was no need  I like plain, but I also like the idea of the basket weave, or even a Celtic cross design. I am a world champion haverer, Brian! I haven't made a decision on my own for 20 years (since I met my wife). I am, however, leaning towards getting a darker brown strap as a contrast, with either a Celtic cross or knotwork motif  |

Ok, strap is now ordered, finished, paid for and should be in the post today!  It's for CBM primarily,and I 'went dark' as per leoroberts' suggestion. I initially asked for a forum logo, and Bev said 'no' once she'd finished laughing  I then asked for a cool Celtic cross design, but the strap was too narrow to manage that  I've finally plumped for a plain strap with a Celtic knot type stamp on it. The price is pretty reasonable, although I suspect prices may have increased somewhat from what you lucky early adopters paid |
