There's baritone B1, a guitar with a bent neck , has Vikingblues been seen since he got his new Lowden - looking forward to seeing/hearing that. I got Volume 1 - 4. Have rattled though the first half of book one, and things are beginning to get interesting (The Blue Bells of Scotland). What other GRCP did Santa bring?

A Digitech JamMan looper with a 32Gb SD card. That's a potential sixteen hours of playing with myself. A daunting prospect. Digitech FS3X 3 Button Footswitch for use with the above A 2x48v phantom power mic box for use with above. A Zoom G1xon Guitar Multi FX Processor and drum machine- for practicing away from the computer software. Warren Nunes's Jazz Guitar Chord Bible. Arthur Rotfeld's Jazz Guitar Chord Voicings Bertino Rodmann's Gypsy Jazz Guitar Volume 1.
Just wait 'til Rosi finds out how much this has cost her !

Loving this! Been playing this so much since opening it my guitar feels quite strange. Learning tunes from From Lute to Uke and Irish Folk Tunes for Ukulele, great arrangements and lovely to play.

I just got the one (a Colin Symonds 14-fret slothead OM, 'Lucky Strike' Redwood with Yew b/s) although technically that was a competition prize rather than a present... I did get tix to see Julie Fowlis at Shakespeare's Globe next May, is that close enough?

I got a Jake Bugg DVD. As for actual guitar related prezzies I didn't get any, which doesn't bother me because I think plectrums, thumb picks, guitar straps, guitars etc are such a personal thing my relatives would probably get it wrong.

Have rattled though the first half of book one, and things are beginning to get interesting (The Blue Bells of Scotland). What other GRCP did Santa bring? Ref the Lowden - see new Lowden thread that I've just started. The B1 sounds very interesting - be good to hear how you get on with it. I've seen it said that in DADGAD it's rather orchestral, which sounds tasty. A Digitech JamMan looper with a 32Gb SD card. That's a potential sixteen hours of playing with myself. A daunting prospect. Digitech FS3X 3 Button Footswitch for use with the above A 2x48v phantom power mic box for use with above. Arthur Rotfeld's Jazz Guitar Chord Voicings Bertino Rodmann's Gypsy Jazz Guitar Volume 1. Just wait 'til Rosi finds out how much this has cost her ! My better half has recently got a Digitech JamMan Stereo Looper and rapidly managed to set up a very effective Paul Simon "You Can Call Me Al" on it. I haven't had the nerve to try it and demonstrate my lack of rhythm and co-ordination yet! Loving this! Been playing this so much since opening it my guitar feels quite strange. Learning tunes from From Lute to Uke and Irish Folk Tunes for Ukulele, great arrangements and lovely to play. What a great looking uke. Does the "-L" on the label mean long scale? Better not let my wife see a picture of this or she'll be after one! ...................... My Lowden was a part Christmas - but it won't be fully mine till I get most of it next birthday and the remainder next Christmas. Thankfully I can play it more than 20% of the time. Only other guitar type gift I got was a Pickmaster Plectrum Cutter. I'll need to start using a pick now! The family know better than to try to guess what I'd like. Mark
