Thanks folks - I must admit the faith line of guitars was something else I had researched before I set sail for Stratford - there were some lovely guitars in that shop for sure - like most of us I guess you could just spend all day playing and trying out the various instruments (also pushed the boat out and bought myself an acus amp which sounded amazing in the shop) - gotta lot of explaining to do at home once the parcels start arriving :0)

And still haven't introduced myself but just to say the combination of the g23sc and the acus one 8 is a thing of complete beauty. I can't believe how easy it is to now play songs I've been playing and struggling with for years. The wife's out all day Saturday with school so I've got a big part of the weekend to get acquainted with them both but I'm loving what I hear so far. I have to say though I already know I'll have to be much more controlled in the way I strum the guitar than I was before,this is definitely a pickers guitar but that's the challenge I've set myself over the next few years as my hands ache more as the grey hairs multiply but it's one I'm really looking forward to.

i have a faith mercury also a faith jupiter jumbo both are keepers the mercury is great for finger picking blues etc i have had both mine 3 years now love them both.
