I'm very pissed off because I was planning to listen to all your recordings tonight, mark.
Don't suppose you'd consider posting some links on here for me??

AJs Boogie is flippin' marvellous...really swingin' (oh god, that was a naff thing to say!). Traveller's Tale - is this Hobbit inspired? Is this the one you played at HB?? I LOVE it. Superb tune, Mark. Not only well played, but the composition....seriously, you should look at selling this - it's amazing You'll need to bring a suitcase with you when we meet up next week, as I'll require a LOT of tab from you - outstanding! Roslin Castle is lovely - quiet and atmospheric, very cool indeed The Gallowhill is just as beautiful, so restrained and heartfelt... ...Romanian Boots is class - driving, hypnotic, emminently danceable...sounds as if it might translate to banjo easily enough Nocturne No2 definitely seems to capture the restless night feel you were aiming for, with enough of a bluesy-jazzy vibe to make me think.....NIIIIIIICE! ;D One to one - I'm sure I've heard this before too - was it HB? Remember I was quite pished...lovely scottish feel to this one - without making myself sound like too much of an arse, is this the slip-jiggy one? Great stuff. I've already commented on 'Dark Island' (genius) and 'My Favourite Things' (wunderbar) and I don't want to exhaust my paltry list of superlatives too soon. All incredible recordings, Mark, really ace. My fave, if I can choose, is Travellers Tale. I just adore that one!

Cheers Martin!
Yes, Travellers Tale is my other vid from HB, I wrote it and There and Back Again for the Traveller and Dave, but yes there is a tip of the hat to the Hobbit with the title of the second one too, the book's about a journey too.
As for Tab, Dave emailed me last night, he wants to make a wee TAB book and CD for himself and me once I send him all the TAB's, and he asked me my thoughts about him offering it to others on the board if they were interested if they pay for the costs of printing it.
I'm happy with that in principle, but was a wee bit concerned about some of the copyright material, but I suppose its purely for study purposes and no one is making any money from it, it might not raise any objections.......its up to others what they think......

I can completely understand your feelings regarding copyright - that's why I suggested you get your tunes out there to publishers - seriously, they're that good! I'd love the TAB for TT, but I realise it's YOUR creation, and you deserve to be compensated for it, even if it IS just a study aid, so I'll be happy to respect whatever you think. Just wish I could do that sort of thing... as for the other copyright stuff, I'm no expert, so I'll leave that to you
