I still think it ironic that Acoustic Magazine advertises here given that they caused such as rumpus by suddenly closing down the previous forum

It's not an advertisement Robbie, just a notification of a future event, similar to those given by other members from time to time. As for the past problems, I well understand your feelings, but I also believe we all should have left that behind us long ago. Dredging it up again, especially in the public area of the Forum, is unlikely to be helpful. Keith

I was in a pub in New Jersey last year and just missed hearing Albert Lee play there - couldn't believe it. I wonder if they knew who he was?

Pity you missed him Jonny. Albert lives and performs in US most of the year so hopefully they've heard of him! But then it is a big place!
I saw him play a couple of years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. What a player!

Robbiej - We're sorry you feel like that. The forum was closed a few years back as it wasn't viable for us to run it. This is less of an advertisement and more of an offer of discounted tickets to users of this forum which we never thought would be unwelcome here

There are plenty of people here that welcome your posts. I will decease from posting any more on this thread or to any more of your public service announcements. Robbie

Well, he's also doing a workshop at Oulton Broad if you can make that.
