Great link - thanks for that!
Used to spend hours studying guitar catalogues instead of my school books. One or two familiar ones there!

Fascinating. One of the guys in my first band (The Orions ) played a Burns. Mine was a Watkins Rapier.

Andy P - I really liked Keith Chandler's Watkins Rapier, Andy. Didn't know you had one too - or did you buy it from him? Keith

No Keith, I can't remember where it came from but it wasn't Keith's. Was his red like mine? I had a disaster when the amp toppled over on to it and broke the neck clean in half. Luckily my Dad was a woodwork teacher and did a first-class repair in time for our next gig at Sydney Workingmen's Club. Yes we did an Australian tour. Only kidding. It was Sydney, Crewe.

...yes, red, 3 pickup model. I played with him and Andy Emberton, mostly in Embo's garage. Trendsetters we were.
Amp? That's posh - Keith used to play his through the amp/speaker of a reel to reel tape recorder. Groovy.
