Personally no, but given the price of dred hard cases at the bottom end I doubt I could get materials for the prices advertised. Ditto at the upper end too. Depends really on the level of protection, amount of weight your prepared to carry and case specifications for linings, hardware etc...

Sorry to be a bore but I agree with francis ; I've been tempted to try it but I suspect it's easier/cheaper to make guitar! I trawled through internet sites till I found very good cases for two slightly unusual guitar shapes - and for under £50 each. At a push it's probably best to modify a ready-made case; I think there's something on the Stewmac site about doing this. Good luck!
