I’m having more and more conversations about basic home recording. I’m thinking of doing shine short videos on cost effective plugins (and maybe the odd luxury one). If people would be interested !!!! And if you are, do you have any topics you would Like covered? I’m sure we can drag lavaman and Cams to help!

Not really. I'd like to see whatever you think is the most important, effective or interesting. It would be great to see how exactly they are utilised in a DAW.
Thanks

Intro — strategies for acquiring and using plugins that will not break the bank 2. Compressors 3. Reverbs Possible almost another section on parallel processing (parallel compression and reverb). My aim would be to keep this as short as possible but we're probably talking 15 mins each. How does that sound? I', wondering whether lavaman and I could do a podcast were we answer your questions as well!

Sounds great Andy. Short is good. EQ on acoustic guitar (obviously used sparingly) would be great too. I'd be interested to know which order of processing in the signal path you use. It would also be great to learn how you eliminate / remove clicks and pops.
Cheers
Dale

Sounds interesting andyhowell . Happy to help but I have no experience of making videos. I could give some tips on how to get a decent vocal sound using parallel processing with delay and reverb plugins Iain
