Alison, "The Tree" was responsibly for lots of seedlings that pop up regularly in the front garden. And you're looking very trim, if I may say so Mr White! That's because I've been on the "Thames Water Sewage Diet" that I'm about to re-brand and launch

Superb.
Did you get any sets large enough for a guitar?
UK sourced soundboards if there are! A great find!

Superb. Did you get any sets large enough for a guitar? UK sourced soundboards if there are! A great find! Shubbs - "read my lips": There are tops, backs sides and neck wood for a range of instruments from harp guitars, acoustic lap slides, Appalacian dulcimers, guitars (including flamenco), octave/mandolin and ukes. The wood has lovely grain and colour and is pretty close to quater-sawn. Plus we've only processed about half of the logs. Indeedie doodie

Incredible! I was distracted by the picture of the trim Dave White and overlooked the text. Fine work on the slim physique Dave. Bruce Forsyth would be proud.
I look forward to seeing that tree become a guitar!

And the moral of this story? Don't be a tree in Dave's garden!
