Love it. Design and aesthetic reminds me of Kai Toenjes guitars.

I collected the Astrand A-OM from The North American Guitar yesterday afternoon after Michael Watts had made a short recording of it. It is ludicrously beautiful and sounds wonderful. It is now in its new home amongst its stablemates. I have placed it more or less centre stage for this shot... For a brand new guitar it already has a great deal to say for itself. I'm looking forward to its inevitable development as the wood gets more used to being a guitar. I would like to add the fact that this guitar sports a set of Keith Robson's hand-crafted tuning machines, thanks Keith for another set of superb tuners. Here's the clip that Michael recorded : Cheers, Ian

Thanks guys. Yesterday evening my young pal Chris Whitfield came round to see the guitar. Chris is a stunning player and very discerning when it comes to guitars. He's already ordered an Åstrand Å-OM, simply on the basis of seeing my being built. It's fair to say that he was totally gobsmacked by the quality on display. He reckons it is without any doubt one of the finest instruments he's ever played. Unfortunately it won't be in Halifax this year. But some of you will get to see it before Halifax 2016, I'm sure.
Cheers,
Ian

Crikey, is that a photo of your music room or The North American Guitar showroom?? Wonderful collection but I'm even more impressed by the clean and spacious room.
Lovely sounding instrument Ian... congratulations.
Cheers, marcus
