As far as I am aware, H2 was the original model (which I have), with H2n coming later and with a slightly improved screen and modified controls for easier use. Otherwise the same.
H2 (if still available)or H2n - Ideal tool as an audio "notebook" - quality more than adequate for that, and good enough for much more demanding applications too...

So, I bought one, and it arrived earlier in the week. Yesterday we (a friend and I) gave it a whirl.
I'm mightily impressed with the sound quality, and ease of use. It's perfect for the job in hand - quick capture of my progress and easy playback (once uploaded to my NAS drive) to listen back to my mistakes!
Thanks for posting on this, I'd never had known such a useful thing existed.

Aye' all my recordings are on either the Zoom H2 or, in the past year, the Zoom H2n. ocarolan gave me some good advice about setting sound levels and there's been no stopping me LOL
