I've got a AS50R which i'm planning on getting rid of. Too big for me to use in the house. I don't know what the difference is between this and the AS50D. I imagine someone out there knows. Anyway, if you try one and like it i'd let this go for £120 as i'd be saving ebay charges (would have to ask for £150 or so otherwise). John

I use the Marshall 50w and I think it's a very good amp for the money. It's been just fine for what I have wanted it for (church and band open mic in pubs). I think if I were playing solo I would probably want something that carried more detail of the sound. It's also very heavy for 50W. There are much more portable good 50w amps around but they cost a fair amount more.

Hi maybe one to look out for is a Headway Shire..nice sounding amps (SK120 probably best) and they go for a song 2nd hand or maybe £200 or so which is an absolute bargain
