Just bought this beauty off Ebay looks, plays and sounds brilliant but, it's a copy and, sold as one, it was less than £300 delivered, I was just wandering how many stories are out there of people getting conned with these I mean, it's even the got proper label and Martin logo stamped on the inside frame work, that said, as a copy it sounds and plays really nicely Attachments:

Or could it be a really cheaply priced Martin with a zero or two missing from the price?

I don't think anyone who has a keen interest in Martin guitars would be fooled by this copy, but the average joe on the street probably would.
The incorrect bridge and rosette are an immediate giveaway that this is not the real thing.

Despite the blingy front, the back looks really nice. Could get some serious envy, down a folk club.
Congrats on your purchase.
If it sounds and feels good, then it's a good guitar, in my book.

I have no idea what the woods are,it wasn't specified on the listing and, yes the pins are a bit wonky but, some ones going to look at that for me, and yes Grayn it does sound and play really nice, and a good talking point at jam nights !
