A few snippets of my three tenor guitars, two Nationals and an un-named 1930s wooden one. Cheers, Kevin link

I don't have one Nigel nkforster but having watched the video I sure would like one! When I have some spare cash..... By the way what's the tuning on that one? I notice 2nd-3rd strings is not a fifth.

I notice 2nd-3rd strings is not a fifth. Bouzouki/OM tuning - from the bass - GDAE or GDAD, I forget which. It's a more versatile tuning than the traditional tenor tuning. Especially for folk or traditional music. n

Soooo tempting - just read my email to that effect too Martin. Shouting loudly about what a bargain it is and how much a tenor guitar would enhance my music had no effect at all on Mrs O'C, who ignored me completely and kept banging on about something to do with C-word trees and when was I going to go and get one..... keith

I don't have one but want one to replace my octave mandolin. When I eventually sell it. Nicest sounding tenor I ever played is owned by a fried of mine, and is a vintage (1930's?) Gretsch arch top. Enjoying the video clips as well- that anonymous one of Kevin's is just Devine! Now, I wonder if Rory can build one that sounds just like that

She watched me unperturbed and said quite seriously "just think how many jobs you could have done instead of learning that". Always one for encouraging her children is my mum - not. Phil

Given the standard of your playing, Phil Taylor, I have to say I think that's one of the saddest things I've ever seen on here...
