I wish the seller good luck, but Tbh I'll stick with the guitars I have. However nice those guitars look i can't see it selling anytime soon. I must say it does make me laugh a little when these high end guitars come up for sale and people post replies saying it's a great price and you won't have trouble selling it!!!!! Who's got 8500 grand to spend on a second hand guitar.

It looks likes I'm to blame, which is partially true...
As Jason Kostal states on the thread, the classical mentioned is a rare find. I played it and it is everything it's cracked up to be. I'm sure Steve will chip in with details somewhere.

Well, as Steve mentions on his AGF thread, Jason Kostal has a very long (and currently closed) waiting list for his guitars, with a new build price of around £15k to the UK. So, I suppose there are quite a few people willing to spend serious money on his guitars, and the two Steve is selling are mint and will cost 60% of the price of a new one, with no waiting time. Although I couldn't afford to do it, I have no doubt there will be keen buyers interested in these guitars, who would otherwise be on Jason's build list.

I sold mine in a week and could have sold it many times over, he is the maker of the moment and in demand.

The wood and strings in question are certainly not cheap, but having played Jonny's Kostal for several weeks when he was kind enough to lend it to me a couple of years ago, I can confirm that Steve's sale guitars are likely to be extremely good sounding instruments. Their new owners-to-be will indeed be fortunate folk.

That's true Graham. Probably more luggage space too. It's amazing how many spare T-shirts, socks and underpants you can get inside a guitar. Keith
