I've been using DayOne for a diary for a few years now. It's on OS X and iOS and I love it. I typed up all my handwritten diaries into it, ticket stubs, travel tickets, exam dates from my calendars, basically giving me a monster timeline going back to 1987. You can put pictures in it too and it pulls the date and time from the photo, so a travel diary is a doddle. And it allows tagging, so I have a 'guitar diary' tag and can keep tabs on my practice sessions and stuff. It's great!

However still sounds like work !!! you must be way more organized than me!
