Thanks very much Riverman . It's always nice doing business with forum members. My pleasure Mel! It's a sweet little guitar and, I'd have to agree, far too nice to take camping. I'd look for something like one of the guitbrett Vintage Viators for that. Hope you enjoy it - I'm sure you will.

I finally get to meet my new parlour guitar tonight. A couple of weeks after the deal was sealed, I'm headed up to Manchester to collect it from my parents'. So excited .

Some strange sights in Manchester this morning, people randomly pointing at the sky shouting what is it, what is it!! The sun has come out, very strange sight indeed. Enjoy the geetar

You are so right cottonopolis. The weather is the main reason I probably wouldn't move back oop north, but those Mancunians knocked it out of the park this weekend!! The temperature was the same as in London and overall, the weather was better in the north than the south east for most of last week.
Anyway, I am now in possession of my new Larrivee Parlour guitar. I've only had a bit of time to play as my weekend was taken up with a wedding and family stuff. However, I'm really enjoying it and it's a dream to play in terms of the neck. I'm hoping to get a tune down in the next couple of weeks if I can overcome my fear of the red recording light so watch this space.

I've now got a Vintage Viator on order, so I am getting the camping guitar as well. Having a great time with my Larrivee though - I've got a few tunes in practice and feel like I'm really starting to bond with the guitar now. I had a friend from Dorset over to stay last night and he picked it up for a noodle. He was really impressed with it and it was fun to hear someone else playing it.

I'm missing one in my collection!

Congratulations on the new guitar - good choice and glad to hear it's going well. The Viator ought to fit the bill well as a camping guitar - hope you have fun with it. Mark
