Sad news, in my rush to get her playing. I only waited about an hour or so before restringing and the tail on the bird part of my bridge is developing a bit gap, should I hope for the best or, act now, remove the bridge and regular with better glue and wait 24hrs this time? Thanks

I'm not sure what coating is on my Kimbara dreadnought top but I can't get it off, I've tried really course sandpaper on my palm sander, even varnish striper but no luck, it won't strip off, <br /> <br /> Sent from my XT1021 using Tapatalk

She is on take 3 of bridge gluing up, I'm now trying titebond original, glued up midnight last night so I will wait till tomorrow evening to put strings back on, then sort my amp out to try her preamp and pickup out, then just practice lots and lots forever...

I hope it works this time. It's hard to believe that a bridge can just be glued on. With the tension in steel strings you'd think nothing less than Rawlbolts would be enough.
