If we're counting 00s, then my favourite of the ones I've played was a Northwood in engelmann & mahogany. Northwood are a bit hit and miss for me - I've played a couple that were fantastic, and a few others that left me cold. They're worth trying if you get the chance, but based on my experience I'd be reluctant to order/buy one unplayed.

If my house was on fire my 1972 Martin 0021 would be the first thing I would rescue. Having said that another forum member has a 1930s Gibson L00 which is fantastic to play and is a thing of great beauty. I think "another forum member" should check their fire insurance.... Keith

I do think Adrian Lucas' Pergola is a cracking design, having played a few of them now.

Keith Nah, those old guitars aren't worth saving...they're all, I don't know, kinda crinkly...

I've got a Washburn 1897 single O and it's a magic sounding instrument. I'm also a big fan of the Fylde Ariel, but wouldn't plump for one without playing it as they're all so very different.

Ralph Bown size 2 he built a couple of years ago. My 1860s 2-27 is pretty good.
0, 00 etc I don't consider to be "Parlour". If I'm wrong there are literally loads of great guitars that fall into the category.
