As the coiner of the "cheeky copy" phrase, I suppose I should say something.
China seems to be able to do what it wants, with regard to copyright. They copy BMWs or whatever. Wolfram, your particular story seems very unfair. I don't think Martin will suffer though. Most acoustic guitars around now, owe their origins and looks to Martin. Same with Fender and Gibson, on electrics. They're all doing very well. If somebody wants to pick up a Martin or Fender lookalike, from China, that's their business. I don't praise them or accuse them. I don't particularly want one but I'd be interested to know how good they are.
So Chad, do let us know what you think of your's, now you've had time to get used to it.

well found Wild Violet thanks for that, very interesting, makes you wonder why they don't just build their own brand There are so many brands out there, already. Probably thought a cheeky copy, might get a few more sales.

Despite the blingy front, the back looks really nice. Could get some serious envy, down a folk club.
Congrats on your purchase.
If it sounds and feels good, then it's a good guitar, in my book.

Don't be surprised if those "cheap" Seymour Duncans, don't turn out to be really good pickups. Korean made guitars are usually very good.
That super low action is great for tapping and super widdly hammer-ons etc. Not much good for owt else, in my view.
With some fettling and cleaning, I reckon you'll be on to a winner. I had a Schecter, that was very similar to your newbie, with a posher finish. Great guitar. For many styles.

Nice. How are you getting on with the new Fender amp? How are the cleans? Does it have much clean headroom or does it distort at a manageable volume? The cleans are typical, Fender cleans. Probably the best around. Sparkling and vibrant. If you want really clean, you can still get it at pretty loud volumes. There's a bit of harmonic distortion, up loud. But that's how Fender sound. I do like the way the British sounding pedals, mix with the very US amp.

I agree with Martin. The Martin 000-15M is a wonderful sounding and playing, guitar.

Recently acquired these 2 beauties. Although I was more than happy with my Blackstar HT-Dual. The fact that it can't run off my Boss BCB-60, 9V pedal board and needs it's own, separate power, makes it more hassle to take out and about. Playing my PRS Custom 24 or MusicMan Axis Super Sport, through a Blues Junior III. I set the amp to clean, with a tiny amount of warm, valve crunch. The Flat 4, I set to just add a small amount, more crunch and volume. The V8, I set to a heavier, more driven distortion, with a small volume boost. I'm lucky, to also own a TC Electronic Mini Spark Booster. This is a clean boost, I use to add a little more volume. For me, that's all the bases covered. The 2 new VOX pedals are very impressive. They look great, to my eyes. They are very solidly built. Also love the inbuilt valve (12AX7), for it sonic effect and look. Both pedals are true bypass and have volume, gain and 2 band EQ. They are designed to give that British valve amp sound. This, to my ears, they achieve. This comes with a certain, natural brightness, to that sound. I like it but if you don't, the 2 EQ knobs will help you out. Yes, I like these pedals, a lot. Even more than the HT-Dual, in fact. Which is saying something. The price of these pedals has gone right down, in the UK. So you get a lot, for not much cash. V8: Flat 4:
