The FBJ is running a project put forward by Bryan Sutton to have different artists come by and record a song and see how the variations differ. The song they've chosen is You Are My Sunshine, and Bryan Suttons starts off with a beautiful version. I've long admired his tone, having been a pupil of his for a couple of years on Artists Works, something that I didn't take full advantage of I'm sorry to say. Fretboard Journal

Bryan Sutton? Amateur! You should have heard the version ocarolan, Martin and I did in the Plucky Dip at Halifax a couple of years ago! (Just hoping no one has a video...)

Great stuff! (Both videos). I too was a student of Bryans and missed out ad finding that great tone. Sometimes I ponder on going back, but I don't think I have the time at the moment. Maybe an idea for the future if I ever retire and find myself wit some spare time?
