This is a song that I heard for the first time at Timperley Folk Club last Friday night. I think that it should be more widely

Unfortunately I can’t get the video posted so search YouTube for Sullivan’s Farewell by Les Sullivan, there is also a performance of the song by Steve Turner. I may have another try later

I'm a big fan of these two ladies at the moment. Whenever either is on, my wife says something to the effect of "oh...yet another gorgeous, long & dark-haired singer with a guitar. Is she also a good musician?":
First, the stunning Caitlin Canty:
Second, the equally beautiful Lera Lynn (just check out that smile at the end):

I'm really loving this guy's music at the moment. Nothing from him for 7 years or so and don't know where he went to. This is from a soundtrack where he wrote the music for a Sam Mendis film. The guitar is tuned to high drop D which is very effective. One of those guys whose music you need to listen to many times and then it hooks you ....

As soon as I saw Noam Pikelny I was in. Thanks for posting these. I hadn't heard of either of these artists.
