Men In Black played a support gig at a folk club last night. We were supporting a local skiffle/ blues/ old times group called The Junco Shakers. We played a mixed set of around 40 minutes, but the thing that got the audience really going was our version of Leo’s “Meet Her In The Bar” which we call “Frisky In The Bar”. Several people asked where we’d got the song. We told them. leoroberts your fame spreads.

Delighted to hear it’s still getting a run out, Paul. Chuffed to bits!

And I only ever go to London with Sharon. Can't speak for Charles, of course. And on thinking about it he does seem a little wistful when he sings it.

Yes, Leo at his best, or is that worst? The second best line in all of Leo's songs as well, almost up there with "refrets, I've done a few".
